Core Management Software

OBS is the core server-side application for managing all your OBM accounts. It is designed for managing individual users and their account configurations, as well as monitoring the entire backup system's performance. Comprehensive logs and reports are available for troubleshooting. CRC data integrity checking, rebuilding of index, merging of incremental delta files, group policy management, reseller management, in-client advertising, and many other useful features are all available.


Online Backup Manager

OBM is a versatile backup application that backs up databases, applications and virtual machines to local and offsite destinations, e.g. local hard disk, on-premises backup appliance, and backup server located in datacenter. OBM comes with dedicated backup modules for VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange Database Availability Group (DAG), Microsoft Exchange Database, Microsoft Exchange Mailbox, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, Lotus Domino/Notes, MySQL, and Windows Bare Metal. Backups need to be completed as quickly as possible. OBM is one of the fastest backup applications equipped with all speed optimizing technologies, including multi-threading, In-File Delta, fast indexing, small files optimization, unwanted file exclusion filter, etc. Thus, it can definitely fulfill the needs of all speed hungry customers. No customer wants to experience trouble during restore. With OBM, your backup data is 100% restorable, as the corresponding OBS backup server will have regular CRC integrity checking mechanism that ensures the restorability.


Continuous Data Protection

SANBack's optional advanced continuous data protection (CDP) technology captures every version of a file that has been saved to your hard drive. With CDP, even if your hard drive crashes completely after you have worked for a full day without invoking backup manually yourself, the saved copy of your working files will still be intact on the backup server. It provides a highly dependable means of real-time, continuous data protection for servers, desktops, and laptops effortlessly and transparently, without any human intervention. In addition, backup will only run when the computer is idle, or when the level of CPU utilization falls below a specific percentage (e.g. 20%), leaving the backup operation completely transparent to users.


Security

The virtue of backup is to make copies of critical data so that these additional copies can be used to restore the original following a data-loss disaster. With SANBack, data will be copied, compressed, 128-bit / 256-bit encrypted and finally uploaded to a remote server located offsite through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This backed up data is 100% restorable to their original formats, when needed, by simply clicking a few buttons.
